Stay on topic or I'm closing the thread. I'm noticing new members here only arguing here and another related thread. Shape up or ship out.

Or you could ban the repeat offenders who continue to drag these discussions down with their infantile games. Closing this or any thread due to the behaviour of a few individuals who are as you mentioned "new members" is unfair to the general C6 community.

That occurred to me too. Is there much else to say, though? We aren't going to glean much else on this topic. But that is a completely fair idea.

There is really nothing to answer here, how am I supposed to tell you how a car doesn't perform against another car. I didn't build it

All I know is that the GT500 from all test is a good performer in it's own right. Just because it doesn't beat another car by some metric doesn't change the fact that it actually does things well by itself.

The way you talk about the car it makes it seem like you couldn't even park it because of the POS it must be lol it's hilarious. I think you're a little upset you couldn't get your hands on one to be honest.. you sound like someone who couldn't get something so you bash it so you can feel better for not getting it. You can call it being "informed" all you want, you're obsessed with a car

I've never seen anybody so upset at an inanimate object, it's as if it personally slapped you in the face. Maybe you could build a car of your own since you're apparently an expert that is never wrong. The ZL1 is a beast, you still pretend like I said it's not though for some reason. Because I don't obsess over a car like you I must be some kind of enemy lol get a grip.
Sometimes when a person buys a car, it is to make themselves look good or to make them be someone. A good driver makes the car, otherwise the car makes them.

True and this is not an uncommon theme for these vs. threads to degrade once the facts have been published and debated. Thank you for your open mind.

Exactly, once degradation takes place, then it is only non-facts and opinions that are introduced. And then those get debated with more non-facts or the ignoring of facts.

Some of these guys are here only to cause havoc and have our threads closed down. A long time ago one such individual went onto another forum bragging about how he finally got one of our long time running threads shut down. I personally do not want to give anyone that satisfaction so I will avoid certain individuals if that helps. Because there are a few of us who are long time members here who enjoy this debate and are not causing trouble. Others are coming here specifically to this thread and targeting people. The majority of us should not be punished for the transgressions of a few outsiders who only want to argue.

Let's say that some of that targeting is not going unnoticed... Maybe not all, or even enough, but at least some... Thanks to the rest of you who are genuinely trying to have a discussion.

It's when you add in the performance and dynamics a lot of people can over look those things. For the people that aren't fortunate enough to have multiple vehicles they might not be able to over look it.
I couldn’t own a Camaro if it was my only car primarily due to its inability to seat four adults. In that regard I don’t consider the Mustang better and the Challenger only marginally. A Charger would be better as the sole family performance vehicle.

Regarding trunk space. I can fit my gym bag, a 30” roller bag and my computer bag -all- in my Camaro without folding seats or making any special accommodation. That’s all I need from my play/commuter car

If I had to pick one of these three cars then one of the Dodges would be it. If I had to pick only one car but it could be anything then I wouldn't pick any of these vehicles. It would be the Trackhawk or X6M. Which is why this type of assessment is useless. Basically it's just picking the lesser of 3 evils, neither of which would be practical compared to other options.

As a sole vehicle I would agree with you.

Trunk space is really what the deal breaker for me is. I need to be able to fit everything I carry in the trunk without folding the seats down, because my son is still in a car seat. I can't get the golf clubs + softball bag + bat bag in the trunk of the camaro without folding the seats down. That extra 4 feet of cubic space in the Mustang makes all the difference to someone like me.

Exactly. It's the lesser of the evils. When buying a car like this you know you are making compromises.

I agree with trunk space on the camaro, definately leaves alot to be desired specifically the trunk opening.

But you learn to get creative. You've be surprised what I've been able to stuff in there, I even put a power wheels in the box in there for Christmas lol. Comoared to my gto, this trunk is huge.

Lol. My daily prior to the Alpha Camaro was also a GTO. Huge opening but no trunk volume.

Mustang is better truck utility but only marginally. Shaffe doesn’t daily one so it must not have made the difference in the end
