Thanks for the info. The steel trailers from what Iv been told are 19" deck height. I left a message at a dealer today. Waiting to hear back. They look like a real nice trailer. Just want a simple trailer to load without the chance of damaging the car. The steel trailers Iv rented or borrowed I feel like I need someone to watch and make sure I don't damage the car loading and unloading.

That must be the 22', love the red on it. I couldn't wait to get one of those since I needed mine quickly and none were available. My Titan enclosed trailer had issues and the dealer took it back and offered this one and after I towed it I was impressed.

I use that axle straps with rings on each end. The rear goes over the arm that has the spring perch. The front I use the same axle straps and go around the lower control arm that holds the ball joint. I'm sure some will the trax and go over the tires. I bought my straps from Summit, its their brand which are blue.

Sundowner

+1 for sundowner, no issues with their AP series and tows easily with the half ton pickup.

Mine is by Jimglo. Very lightweight and it comes with a bunch of options to include a built in winch. It is also a tilt bed that I can drive the Camaro right up on without issues.

As to where I tie it down, I go thru the wheels and use them as the on car anchor points since the 6th gen doesn't have good spots.

I used one of those when my enclosed was being repaired the 1st time and it pulled great. I couldn't load my car without putting boards under the rear of the trailer to get my nose up on the car to load without hitting the trailer bed. My Camaro is lowered 1.5 inches which could have been a factor. Then if you want to put a box up front it would not fit the way the bed separated from the front of the trailer so that wouldn't work for me. Very nice trailer besides that. It did sit a few inches higher then my Sundowner as the dealer had them almost side by side.Congrats.

I called sundowner and the deck heights are both 17” on the one I got. I couldn’t find a local dealer who returned any calls. When I payed it out on cad I needed 7.4 degrees on the ramps to clear the rubber on the splitter at 5”. This trailer is only 6.2 degrees. Do t have my car hear with me. I’m hoping I have no problems. I am going to make a box up front. But I’m going to enclose the area in the tongue.

The easiest way I know of to load really low cars with a non-tilt trailer is to drive the rear wheels of the truck up onto rhino ramps. They are light and easy to place and remove, and the heavy duty ones are STRONG. I currently pull a 32' tri-axle that weighs about 13K loaded with nearly 2K on the tongue. I've driven the rear of my DRW 3500 onto rhino ramps with the trailer on the hitch multiple times for this purpose. I've also used a single rhino ramp on one side of the trailer to raise it so I can change a trailer tire many times (more times than I'd like - damn trailer tires).

I'm sure raceramps would be similarly excellent (and probably others). It is one more step in the load/unload process (which is annoying) but short of a long beavertail on the trailer, it's the best way I've found.

I’m hoping not to have to do anything. At 17” deck height it should go right on. If it squats a little that will give me even more room. Iv seen some use a electric jack to pick up on the front a little tat helped
