I just got a RS 2lt with 20s. In my humble opinion it drives very smooth for low profile tires. I've even taken some others for a ride an they commented on how smooth it felt. It certainly is no Lexus, but is a very well built automobile. I am a former C6 z51 owner here. That may have something to do with my seat of the pants feeling. I like it and my wife drives the ATS. Very good driving cars.

18" wheels and different tires would be your best bet as others have said

Ride in a slammed honda civic or some other crap econobox that's been riced out by cutting the springs and putting tires with sidewalls so small they're barely bigger than the seal to the rim. That's bad ride quality.
Then you'll have a good sampling of what is harsh and what isn't. It's all relative. |

18" wheels on all-seasons are your answer. As longs as the brakes fit...

What I don't really understand is how people bump into these 3-year old threads to then resurrect them There is this and now another one from 2017...

My vote is 19” wheels with non-runflat street tires. With that, you gain sidewall*, lessen the sidewall stiffness and go to a tread pattern that admits less road noise.
*Staying with the factory tire OD/rev per mile. |
