Heated switch location
Hi
I’m installing heated seats. Where did you place the switch? Considering three options: 1. Shifter bezel - not sure if there’s enough room 2. Center console side trim 3. Get those chair gap fillers and place the switch there. Thanks for sharing |

I'm going to disagree a little and say yes you could make the oem buttons work. You'd need to do lin bus decoder (could be done with most small microcontrollers) but it's not a simple process so you'd need to be confident in your elctonics skills. Saftery of the heaters is a different story although I can almost guarentee there will be some kind of thermal fuse in the seats.
