I take back my comment that it had bumper parking/moving damage in shipment which is really common and not disclosed that it's not factory paint.
It was likely in a real accident. Some lot jockey/mechanic at the dealer or a customer test drive pranged it up. It's the big dog engine and what car guy wouldn't want to see how it goes, even on the lot.
Start communicating in writing/email with the dealer ASAP. At least at the GM level. They are not disclosing the car's history.
You have a case for claiming diminished value of the car, about 8-10K.
If you try to sell the car anyone seeing that will devalue it's worth.
They may offer to take it back. Too bad as it's great car!

Oh yeah, you've had body work done. That's an obviously bad touch up job on the fender bolt, I can't tell from the angle you shot, but if there are more bolts with broken paint or marred, it suggests the same thing. Notice the strut bolt in one of the red circles? They usually don't have impact socket marks like this one from the factory. Compare it to the other tower bolt, doesn't look the same. I'd say that LF fender was damaged.

I have a scheduled meeting with the dealer’s top manager and a “GM WARRANTY SPECIALIST” on Monday October 28. I finally got a response from the dealer after at least 8 calls to the Chevrolet Customer Service hotline (since I got nowhere with the dealer itself after 3 weeks of repeated calls to the lead manager at the dealer after a meeting in which the body shop estimator took pictures of the car in the service bay without sunlight where the color mismatch is most obvious), and the dealership management group. I was told the pictures would be forwarded to the regional manager, however it took all those calls to get some resolve. We’ll see. I’ve been sick to my stomach for two months and have taken hours off from work to deal with this and the meetings. This should not be my problem. This is a Chevrolet, no a GM quality control problem that has been passed on to me the consumer. What a foul taste I have. This is a great car I love driving... but so far it has been spoiled by a false misrepresentation of the overall product. In the Chevrolet Camaro online builder there is no indication of a two-tone final product, especially after having to pay extra for a premium color....Not happy!

I saw a video recently saying different GM parts are sourced from different manufacturers and the paint colors can be a little off since they mix the paint at the manufacturer.

This shouldn't matter, as everything is painted together at the factory at the same time. The parts once painted are paired to the car.

OPs car has definitely had body work done to it and the respray was poorly matched.

I would demand a buy back.

I have a 2020 Shock SS 1LE, and yes I can see the difference in color between the front clip and rest of the body on my car just as SOS's car. Pretty much exactly.

This was the same case as my 2016 Silver ice metallic 1LT Camaro.

GM is the worst offender of this IMO.

This is not true. Bumpers and rockers are not painted at the same time as the body, hood and doors of the car.

Certain colors on Camaro can show what some people perceive as a big color harmony difference. Shock is one of those colors. Crush is also one of those colors.

If the car had to have some sort of adjustment or repair at the factory(which does happen), then this would be normal. It could also be the result of the car being damaged after it arrived to the dealership.

I have a satin steel ZLE, and I run a body shop. Yes the colors will always be different from metal to plastic because of the static discharge of the gun and the material the paint is laying on. there are ways to prevent this but no one I know ground cars during paint or run a static release tip while spraying. I Will be repainting mine soon as it doesn't matter that I have PPF There are still rock chips.

A uniform shade and finish is too much to ask on a $70k sports car? Seriously?
