Because I live in California I cannot order directly from Range. I can, however, order from Summit Racing as long as I say it’s for “off-highway” use. But, do you think it will have the latest firmware from Summit?

There are a few sellers on eBay that sell them directly from range.Thats how I got around it .and mine is the newest firmware.

I saw that they are sold on eBay, but I was a little worried about ordering from there. Do you know the name of the seller you bought it from? And what was the price?

Thank you! I’ll be ordering today. Looking forward to having the V8 all the time. After all, if I wanted a 4 cylinder I would have bought a Civic!

I got mine yesterday and it works perfectly! It really does seem to make the car more fun to drive. Also, it could be my imagination, but I swear it sounds better even at idle. Yes, it's my imagination, but as long as it continues to work like it has I'm very pleased with it. Probably the best mod I've made so far.

I have had my range for a 6 months. I love it. I have NPP exhaust and with the fuse pulled, the v4 sound was horrid, but now as I decelerate and it stays in V8, I hear small backfire crackles, and each downshift....makes me grin....
I think AFM had to be the reason GM created the NPP exhaust...
Best mod under $200
