Break vibration / drag when stopping?

Hey guys ... I have a ZlE with just over 1000 miles on it. Today while driving around town my breaks started making a really strange vibrating sound that resonates through the whole car when I come to a low speed stop. It feels and sounds like they are dragging and the frequency of the sound makes the hole car vibrate. The car seems to stop fine but I can't tell if I have lost any breaking power. I did hit the breaks really hard on the way into town today from about 80 - 5 MPH and I have yet to properly scrub the breaks in so I wonder if that is a factor. I have warped plenty of breaks in my day but it doesn't feel like a warped rotor. Wondering if anyone has experienced this phenomenon?

Happens to me sometimes too. If I do a few hard stops it goes away. Seems to happen when I driving it too easy.

Uneven pad material transfer. It'll go away, or you can speed it up by getting on the brakes pretty hard a few times.

Same here.

I was getting some seriously loud howling and buzzing for awhile so I did the brake burnish again and problem solved.

Hmm... weird. I’ll have to go out and bed the breaks in and see if it remedies it. I’ve never experienced this with my Shelbys BMWs or Porsche’s but save the GT350 the breaks were not in the same wheelhouse performance wise ... wheelhouse ... accidental pun.
