if you look at the very outsides of the front fascia, on the 2016-2018 there is a vertical ridge that sticks forward and catches a large amount of bugs, and I'm just glad they finally fixed that in the 2019 and 2020 re-design.
I still find the 2019 to be very unique looking and if I had the choice between a 2019 SS and a 2020 I would take the 2019. While flawed, at least it looks cohesive. The refresh looks tacked on, like an afterthought, or like someone did it aftermarket. "Oh lets paint the center bar." They never would have come up with the 2020 from scratch. It's the car equivalent of using white-out. Tacky. |

My biggest dislike for the 2019 was just that it felt too much like GM was copying the Charger.

Personally, I think every Camaro except the LT-1 should be based off of the ZL1 front end. But, that's just my opinion.

What's exactly similar about the 2nd set of images besides them both being a green car with dark rims? Besides the color scheme, I see nothing.

OP is an obvious troll right? That's what i thought, then the bizarre passion for the various front clips continues... Now i don't know if it's funny or disturbing

The fact that the Charger went back to a "traditional" appearance, one in which the bumper goes across the front of the car in the same color as the car, does not lead me to believe it is trying to copy anybody.... Its just being normal. Whereas prior to that, it was not normal for a bumper to be painted black so that it matched with the upper and lower grille openings. That was something that made the Charger unique..... and by doing the same thing to the Camaro, we were copying it. For the Charger to go back to the standard, isn't terribly noteworthy. Its possible that they did so by coincidence, or because GM copied them, so they might as well change things up again. Quote:
Honestly, for my perception, what people are mostly saying is ugly, is that black painted bumper. .... yes, some dislike the flowtie, and some dislike the fang shapes, but predominantly, the problem was the black bumper. So by changing that for 2020, people are happy because the part they didn't like, got changed. The models aren't exactly the same except one... if anything, one is the same and all other models are different.

The Blacktop appearance package has never blacked out this part of the bumper on an SRT. So nothing "changed" and nobody is copying anybody really.
