if you look at the very outsides of the front fascia, on the 2016-2018 there is a vertical ridge that sticks forward and catches a large amount of bugs, and I'm just glad they finally fixed that in the 2019 and 2020 re-design.

I still find the 2019 to be very unique looking and if I had the choice between a 2019 SS and a 2020 I would take the 2019. While flawed, at least it looks cohesive.

The refresh looks tacked on, like an afterthought, or like someone did it aftermarket. "Oh lets paint the center bar." They never would have come up with the 2020 from scratch. It's the car equivalent of using white-out. Tacky.

My biggest dislike for the 2019 was just that it felt too much like GM was copying the Charger.

Personally, I think every Camaro except the LT-1 should be based off of the ZL1 front end. But, that's just my opinion.

The only difference could be the height of the air openings.

What's exactly similar about the 2nd set of images besides them both being a green car with dark rims? Besides the color scheme, I see nothing.

Here, in Russia, 2019 is under huge troll, because we have a car Lada Vesta, which is the worst car in the world, it has the same design as 2019
2020 is much better, but honestly speaking, in person 2019 looks not too bad. Google taillights looks fresh, but too big, convex like Japanese car has and round design not correspond whole sharp car design. I like smoked 16-18 agressive taillights.
I love it how people just blanket the 2019 as ugly when all models except one are exactly the same in 2020.

I see your point, but if you were to use a Charger of a different color than the Camaro, then I would lose your point.
The fact that the Charger went back to a "traditional" appearance, one in which the bumper goes across the front of the car in the same color as the car, does not lead me to believe it is trying to copy anybody.... Its just being normal.

Whereas prior to that, it was not normal for a bumper to be painted black so that it matched with the upper and lower grille openings. That was something that made the Charger unique..... and by doing the same thing to the Camaro, we were copying it.
For the Charger to go back to the standard, isn't terribly noteworthy. Its possible that they did so by coincidence, or because GM copied them, so they might as well change things up again.

Honestly, for my perception, what people are mostly saying is ugly, is that black painted bumper. .... yes, some dislike the flowtie, and some dislike the fang shapes, but predominantly, the problem was the black bumper.
So by changing that for 2020, people are happy because the part they didn't like, got changed. The models aren't exactly the same except one... if anything, one is the same and all other models are different.

so it wasn't a Dodge thing that initially started that blackout bumper it goes quite a bit farther back. Something like 2005 Audi...and both of my S550 mustangs I did not think the front bumper look aggressive enough so I blacked out the middle sections as well. Even Ford has definitely embrace the look. look at the new GT500.Some like the look and others don't . I think it's just a modern aggressive style .and Chevy was trying to embrace it.also if you look at painted bumper on the SS in certain lighting is painted black metallic. Giving it some class ..both versions of the bumper are nice ..the 20 bumper being painted gives it a snake like look and the 19 looks like a Spartan helmet..both versions very nice ..my only problem with any of the bumpers that are available right now is probably the V6 one it's not really bad looking I just think the top grill is a little too big and awkward kind of upside down looking a little bit.

My sight is at least good enough to notice that the white car you posted is an SXT Blacktop Package and the bottom is an SRT. :P

The Blacktop appearance package has never blacked out this part of the bumper on an SRT. So nothing "changed" and nobody is copying anybody really.

That's what I thought, too. Either that or he's just really trying hard to convince himself that the '19 is somehow "better" than the '20? I mean, he's posted up how he loves his '19, which is totally fine. Then he posted up asking if the '19 was somehow going to be more of a collector piece, because it was only made for one year, and now the post about how the '20s are awful?

Either a troll, or dude is seriously insecure about his purchase.
