Yes I have! I did email inquiries into quite a few, oddly none have responded or if they do they won't give me a price. This week I'll swing back around and actually call. I'd have no problem doing a fly and drive and turn it into a vacation of sorts. Private party one too...

I hate to repeat myself but I think my shopping of gt350s have ruined me. Dealers around me all have them heavily discounted and I could get any color I want. But then for the first time in my 38yrs of life I said, maybe I should look at a Camaro. I wish I never saw that Red Hot one at the dealer because now I'm hooked.

I understand Kramer! Yes if you do buy one out of state it will be a very unforgettable and enjoyable trip back home! I’m just surprised no dealer has back to you yet especially Hendrick in Atlanta.

They emailed me back, but wouldn't provide me with numbers. I guess I haven't bought new for a few years... am I out of line expecting to get a dealer to be upfront and give me a price knowing I'm looking for an exact car? Last time I did this it worked out fine and I bought a vehicle with no haggling. I thought dealers used to have no problem providing it?

No you aren’t out of line asking for upfront pricing. Donohoo Chevy in Ft. Payne Al has a good choice of new ZL1s and ZL1 1LEs at employee pricing. You might check their website. I bought my used 2017 in Greer SC Bradshaw Automotive but they don’t have any ZL1s now.

Here is a 18 Red Hot. I looked at this car in March. Can't remember if it had a sun roof. They took it in trade on a Hellcat last fall. Very small dealer and have dropped the price 2000 since I looked at it. It is an hour away from me.

Well you should be able to get 5-6K off if you get with the right dealer. I live in Texas but we bought our 2019 ZL1 1LE A10 at Ferman Chevrolet out of Tampa a few months ago. They currently have 5-6 available.

Please tell me more! I see it has a sunroof but it also has a PDR.... was it like new??? You can pm me if you want

I’ve used autotrader carsoup cars.com craigslist etc. locally they aren’t dealing on new or used. Most of the out of state ones are priced the same because they are advertised with rebates I don’t qualify for!

Yeah man. Used market is pretty saturated on the 350!

When I was searching for a zl1 on the car apps(car gurus, autotrader, cars.com) all of the 'too good to be true' deals were exactly that. I'd call and the salesman would simply lie and say they put the price wrong and were in the process of fixing it...weeks later, it'd still be the same.

And I had no luck at castle in IL, they had 21 zl1's and just wouldn't budge much and at one point couldn't even get me in touch with their own employee because they didn't know he existed lol.

A decent place to look used is the model specific Facebook groups too, I know fbook is terrible, but it is good for quick info and buying/selling stuff.

If you are serious and about to buy a used ZL1 from a dealer, you can get a simplified window sticker (.pdf download) to show all the options from the factory, original MSRP, and all that. It costs $8 but well worth it if you can't obtain the original window sticker.

Just went to look at a 2019 Shock Zl1 convertible here in Tampa this weekend. 74k down to 68k. 2 white coupes for around 59k. Good discounts I think.

I had good/bad timing when I first started looking at ZL1's. Without going into too much detail, we were sold on the Gt350 until we realized the engine/oil consumption issues. Started looking at the ZL1's literally right when Chevy threw in a $7,500 discount on leftover 2018's (March timeframe). I want a 6 speed, no sunroof, very happy with a base model. Got a quote for $52k + T&L, been kicking myself that I slept on it for a week and it was gone. Too hard to see used 2017 models all going for more, if I haven't bought anything by then will look at 2019 models early next year when Chevy is trying to blow out leftovers again.
