Non Brembo brakes will work just fine for the LT1, and keep costs down.
They're not optional. I never said they were optional. They are the only brake showing on the order screen and when I open the order the screen, they are checked already. They are standard on the LT1.

I don't know why people want to argue this with me. If I tell you it's gonna rain, you better get your umbrella ready.

I think it was even stated in the press release...

Just in case there's any more doubt. This is what it says when I try to deselect Brembos on a LT1 order.

Keep in mind that J55 brakes are Brembos from the LT 1LE. They are not the same RPO code as the standard SS Brembo brakes. They will be Brembo FRONTS. Rear brakes will be different from the SS.

No. 1LE is not available on LT1 trim.

Unknown, but you can order a 1LT 1LE so I don't think it's out of the question.

Plenty of people claim to know all of these answers definitively, best to ignore the assumptions until order guides are open.

A LT1 1LE would essentially be the 1SS that they offer today. While we don't know for sure yet, I seriously doubt GM would do this.

As a member who has 2 gm products sitting in my garage, imo gm has serious issues across the board in general but that's for another time and place. I'm with others that have the same thoughts in regards to this "fresh update" for the Camaro and this lt or lt1 or whatever it's called package as in I don't see this making much difference. Will it help some sure but not enough from what I've seen posted but I very well could be wrong lol.

Well for now, one Cadillac sedan and a coupe. We'll see if a coupe ever come back when the CT4 is announced.

At one point GM had a rule if it couldn't sell on 5% or greater of the production volume it was out.

Remember there was a day when Henry Ford said you could have any color you want, as long as it's black.
The 5% rule was real. VERY real. Except for Corvette.

Not at all. From what I've seen the LT1 is basically a 1SS minus the RS package and a couple options. Performance wise only the wheels and tires separate them, and a brake cooling duct.

A LT1 1Le would basically be a 1ss 1LE. I don't believe the LT1 will be nearly as diluted as some think it will be. It's only 3k less. I think the main objective is to allow people to get a V8 with that front end look while offering a cheaper model that doesn't downgrade the SS. I'm thinking option wise it will be very, very similar to the 1ss if you check the boxes.

If there isn't a 1LE version for 2020 I bet there is for 2021

THERE IS NO LT1 1LE

Don't count on them offering it for 2021 or beyond either. It makes zero sense to offer that package with 1LE since we can get a 1SS and 2SS with 1LE.
