To those tossing out a 100K price tag, you talking MSRP or you counting on ADM?
No chance the GT500 MSRP near 100K |

I heard that it was going to start at $67k for the base model but who knows if that's accurate. As for ADM, many on the mustang forum have made deals at msrp with some at msrp +$5k so probably no where near $100k. I'm sure some dealers will mark them up that high or higher, but probably won't be the norm.

Ford over priced these cars all day long. Even the 350R is over priced compared to the zl1 base model. |

I believe we're going to see the base GT500 for right at $70K (maybe +- $2K on either side), the Handling Package at +$3999 ( S/Wing, adjustable shocks, some additional aero), and the CF Track Package for +$11,995 (doesn't stack on the Handling Pack, it's one or the other). ADM? It's going to be nuts, with about a car per participating dealer ... though a few folks have signed an MSRP or minor ADM (~$5K) deal. |

I wouldn’t underestimate the emphasis Ford is putting into the GT500 to be a track star (road course that is). When a buddy of mine and I were leaving VIR on 3/26 Ford had (5) 18 wheelers and about 15-20 staff arrive for a private “pre Lightining Lap” test. We actually had 2 GT500’s pull up beside us in the pit area. I hope the ZLE A10 will still prevail in a head-to-head comparison when it’s all said and done and really hope the Ford boys get their feelings hurt. We’ll see.

My guess the average ADM will be $15k-$20k for those who HAVE to own one coming out of the gates...2021 will be a lucky $5k ADM.
Only basing this on what most 350r dealers were doing at least in my area...for those handful who get lucky enough buying at sticker?? You got a good car & deserve a pat on the back for having connections & a rare Ford dealer with integrity. Still don't understand why so many more blue oval dealers do this compared to bowties?? |

The other car to keep in comparison here as well is the HC Redeye (top of the line) with a base price of $71,695 (Widebody option adds $6k). I've seen some videos where the As Tested price was $91k, in the build & price I've already gotten one up to $95k (w/o every option but all the major ones). I wouldn't be surprised to see a base GT500 at a similar $70k-$74k, with the Carbon Track Package around $85K. I'm absolutely certain ADM will be astronomical!

For the previous 2013 GT500, the Boss 302 was the track car and the GT500 was the monster & 1/4 mile car (I owned a 2013 GT500). Historically and more recently the GT350 was the track car. I believe this GT500 will attempt to be more track capable than the previous GT500s but at 4200lbs I don't believe the GT500 will be a great track car. I have no concerns about it being a better track car than my ZL1 1LE but it will likely be a better 1/4 mile car. Just my guesses

When I finally took delivery, the dealership told me they would pay me 10k cash to back out of the deal HAHAHA! I almost took it. ADM on Shelbys is pretty ridiculous! I got mine was fully loaded at MSRP of 72k. I recall mark up was typically 20k. Same thing with the latest GT350R, if you could get one for MSRP I'd have bought one.

As far as the ADM's, I'm certain at minimum you will see all of that $20k from the GT350's and then some. Just nuts what the dealers will try to get away with and what people are willing to pay too! |

![]() Seriously though, Ford has totally rethought what it means to enter this market segment (super high performance domestics), and definitely targeted a new metric. Even that line in the video above about the base model being the "drag car", that's just lip service, there's no drag specific design (like the Demon or more recent Drag Pack from FCA), it's a drag car by way of being high output, having electronic launch/suspension modes and an incredible fast shifting transmission. We're all sort of guessing at this point, though there are some channels with people ITK, speaking "off the record" that hinted at a few stats, and they're definitely not what's being discussed in this thread If they're correct, people are going to be floored by the track performance.
