No worries 2019ers, you should be able to switch out the front clip.
With your post I just realized it is just the front clip on the front end! Although I like the 19’s in the color I’m ordering (satin steel), I might have that option. I might like the 20’s in satin steel better, cool to be able choose!

yes, and it replaced the Type LT, which was slotted to do the same thing.

Had they kept the Z28 name slotted where it always had been, they'd have SS available for this V8 without the extra handling.

Look at the close up of the grill on red LT1..looks like some sick psycho pathetic grin. Looks actually creepy.

Yep.

Chevy should have taken the Mustang grill and put in on the 4 and 6 cyl. cars, and put the Challenger grill on the new LT1. Would be an improvement.

they could have just kept the initial 6th gen front bumper and improved the interior if they didn't want to make major body changes to address other main complaints about the car. There was nothing wrong with the initial nose style.

Yet they change something that didn't need to be changed and are apparently still installing garbage interior plastics that rattle all the time and hard plastic buttons that rattle...and we'll just see the buyers continue to dwindle because it's the same formula that has not worked so far in the past 3 years.

The cloth upholstery in my wife’s 2012 Equinox is worlds nicer.
Technology package with 8.0 Mylink and Bose will be an option. The cloth isn't that bad.

That's good. I was curious, as I questioned the wisdom of pairing an LT-1 engine with only "adequate" brakes. As for the wheel/tire combo, I'd say the 20 inch dia. 8.5s with A/S tires are categorically better than the base Mustang GT's 18 inch setup. The base GT looks almost comically under-tired, and the base wheels for it scream "cheesy" very loudly. Just my take on it.

Hard to say, some guys here say the 2019s will be known as the one year ugly step sister, some say rare Camaro( as so few were sold) Time will tell.

Guys on here are mod crazy so whynot switch the front clip?

The old adage, "never buy a first year model, wait til the bugs are worked out" still rings true.

^it is hard to say, that was my point. True some dont like the 2019, some do. Im aware of things work on here and get the mod bug on occasion, and in regards to not buying the first model year, that rarely happens if people followed that rule then they woiod never buy anything, and in this case its a refresh not a new model. The 2015 refresh received almost the same amount of outcry as the 2019. Cant keep everyone happy. In the end it matters to the owner what they think of their car, since it is their money.

Not buying the first model year is really old at this point usually if there are any issues they are resolved after three months. I’ve seen this with a 2014 Silverado and my 2016. Both built 6months after production start. These guys are pretty quick to react.

The things like 8spd shudder and npp rattle have never been resolved or just recently resolved

What we know:

1) All season instead of performance summer run-flats
2) Base 7" infotainment screen
3) LT front end (not seeing how this saves a ton of money over the SS front end...maybe those "frying pan" DRLs are expensive!?)

Assumed:
1) Uses the base drivers information center instead of the 8" DIC used in the SS
2) Does not have all the same coolers that the SS has.
3) Maybe does not have Track and Competitive driving modes, but I don't see how this saves any money at this point.

What else am I missing? Not sure how all of that ads up to thousands in savings.

It's clear that the LT1 trim is still using the Brembo brakes, and I'd bet money that it is using the same suspension as a non-MRC equipped SS.
It has the base level taillights and headlights too.

I really like the front end on the LT1, but looks like no option for leather. The new SS front is improved slightly, but still like the 18 better. I'm also partial to green metalic as that was the color of my first car, although I currently have a green one and really wanted something different this time.
