Stainless Works catback

Installed this, with my dad, over a couple nights at a buddy's shop with a lift. Just a couple thoughts and observations on another option for a catback with functional NPP valves.

I bought these during a sale from my parts slinger Terry at Beefcake Racing...awesome guy that will literally call you on a Sunday to answer a question on an install(16 GT headers).

I was not 100% sold on the borla sound/price and wanted the valves to work, just in case I need quiet time one day. I had previous experience with this company's headers on a mustang and I was impressed with fitment, so I decided to go for it. I have not seen but 1 or 2 other setups like this in all my searching for clips.

Anyway, when the weather warms up I'll get some better clips. Fitment was good, directions were pretty clear, I only had one issue...the first set had to go back because one of the tips got trashed, along with some of the pipes. Looked like the UPS man took that set to a mosh pit. Sent some pics in and they sent another set VERY quickly. Now, this set was not perfect, but I can't see where the couple dings are on the bottom...so I'm going with it. IMO, they need to send the tips separate like AWE does.

I really am enjoying the new sound that a car that looks like this deserves.

Sounds good but hard to tell on Youtube without a before/after.

How does it sound compared to stock? Stock is so tame.

Yeah I guess it'd be kinda hard to make a before/after video now lol. There were certain ranges of the factory system where it was almost non existent, even with the fuse pulled. You can hear this at all times, quite a bit louder, but to me stainless works does a good job of just not throwing out noise...on these and in the coyote world.

If you paste the full links, such as: www.youtube.com/watch?v=etc.etc.etc. it will embed. If you use the shortened links which is what default copies from your Phone or from most Apps, it won't auto embed. Here's the two embedded. Sounds good, a little more tame than my Corsa setup, nice smooth sound.

Thank you, I knew i had done it correctly before, but this time it wasn’t happening lol. It is definitely more tame than a corsa setup, but i like both sounds. Another reason i wanted the less rowdy version was i was almost positive I’d do headers on this when i felt comfortable not having a warranty...but i like this volume so much i may not mess with it.

Thanks! I only had limited time at highway speeds so far, but i think there is going to be just a tad bit of drone in the lower rpm at cruising speeds. It doesn’t bother me at all, but i would like to see what i find there as not to mislead anyone...i know that is an important part of buying exhaust for most.

Excellent, thats what I want.

Is it still quiet in stealth mode? I have a 3 year old I don't want to wake up during nap time.

You can hear the stealth mode briefly in the video, i got confused on the modes and had just added my fuse back in so it was delayed...but yes it toned it down a lot. I will try to get a better one for you when it warms up. A cold start will still be a no-no during nap time lol.
