We have been working with CARB this entire time during the design process and during testing to stay within the requirements with the standard kit. That's one reason why both kits are the exact same kit for LT-4 and LT-1.

Since all your testing is done and ready to go, the question is, Do you plan to put these on the market or just keep it in house and not release to the public? And if you do plan to release it to the public, do you plan to release it to the public in the next few years say before 2025?

As We said previously in this thread. The decision was made to add an additional forced air feature to the units. This change requires us to run our test mileage.
We have almost completed the miles required. We figured the Camaro crowd would appreciate the additional on road performance.

I would honestly just say ignore the doubters, they are very unlikely to be potential customers. Those who are looking for another viable option other than the proven Rotofab are waiting patiently for your results and 3rd party verification of said results. I for one have money in hand ready to spend on the next stage of my build to replace my current intake I am not very happy with (no I won't call out the manufacturer publicly). Hopefully you will have something viable by the time I am ready to pull the trigger. Thanks for your due diligence, some of us do appreciate the effort.

+1 on waiting for this and you ignore the doubters. Thanks for all the testing VR!!!

My friend has had your intake on numerous Vettes and to say the least, he was more than impressed.

Anxiously awaiting this to be released.

I think ya’ll have confused people as doubters when it seems to be more geared towards a teaser that said final pricing was being done 3 months ago and people hate the “soon” thing in repetition. It is what it is

Don't get me wrong, I'll always go with the best performing option. Even though I currently have a cold air setup--prove to me that yours is superior by submitting it for independent testing and then you will have a sale, not only from myself but I'm sure others as well.

Couldn’t wait any longer, went with RF, and plenty happy with it. I sincerely hope that someday VR is able to produce (and actually releases) a viable CAI kit. And if they do, and it’s proven by a 3rd party to outperform RF by some decent numbers, then I’ll consider switching. I wish them the best, I really do. But those of you who are waiting on the edge of your seat with cash in-hand, are most likely in for a long disappointing wait. I understand the need for R&D. But jeez, if it takes over a year, and it’s still not done... I guess patience is not my best virtue! Good luck to all!
#1 There was no Camaro intake manifold debacle. As stated previously in this thread we have no less than 6 manifolds inbound not "1". (Did you ever see or hear about The VARARAM designed and manufactured semi production manifold for SAM for the Engine Masters Challenge in 2015? I bet you didn't) Scared the competition into changing ,I mean, re-clarifying the rules so it couldn't be used!
The only Polymer manifold available for your car , is warped from the factory ,has poor construction everywhere and doesn't perform anywhere near the way it could. We will never manufacture a product like that.
That's what being in a hurry to make a buck does!

#2 WE do not throw on a cone and pipe and call it an intake. Especially one that is substantially smaller than the factory parts !
WE spend about 1 year developing an intake system for a street car for public use.
We take the time to flow bench test , perform proper on-road long term testing and data logging etc to verify its performance in real world conditions .
WE design and test to OEM requirements even though we are not required to do so.
Again, as stated previously in this thread.

If we can take a stock air-box and modify it to our specs , install a panel filter and take down all comers , what does that say...?

After all, GM and their racers don't call any of the "other guys" for the COPO program cars , they call VARARAM!
( We just designed and built Them ANOTHER Racing Intake system for a second engine combination ) That's 2 different COPO intakes in about 35 days!

At Vararam we show more real world data and testing than any other company we know of. The "other guys" usually don't show you anything but a Dyno test!

WE know our competition is worried because Vararam has NEVER lost a head to head competition of any kind. Our competition knows that! ( intake or intake manifold)

Almost forgot : VARARAM will also be guaranteeing a power gain in writing over our competition or we will take the system back!

I like this, you can make 2 intakes in 35 days but it takes 2 years for just one to the public?

Independent testing could mean a lot these days. Lots of ppl with their own motives. Best thing is to wait it out and see what the fast list says
