Yeah man I was pretty much told the exact same thing. There's a little arrogance I feel on their part that it can't possibly be anything they did wrong. The big lesson I learned was I should have never bought the kit with the canned tune included. That $$ could have been better spent on my own tuner.

My dealer "House of Boost" had to get involved to convince them to try to reflash my tune.

Once they got my PCM back. It was then that they saw some sections were not written to my tune file so when it flashed. That area had incorrect values set. Its no wonder I had the problems I did.

So keep in mind that even though we may have different codes. It's quite possible that something similar happened to yours and it might result in a different problem than the specific ones I dealt with.

Here is the Post on my issues. and the codes are on Post #26 of this thread

I can't see how it would hurt to have them just verify and reflash your PCM just to rule out any possible flukes that may have occurred.

It looks like you are getting different codes than we are getting. He has gone over the maf extension and it made no difference. He is checking the harness now to make sure there isn’t a problem there.

My mechanic is also a vendor for their product. I just find it odd the lac of support they seem to be giving him. My experience so far has not been great, I hope this isn’t a sign of things to come. Maybe I should have bought the whipple afterall?

Procharger support has been that way forever. I put a P1sc kit on a 1996 z28 m6 car back in 2002-2003 and the kit was total garbage along with the support. The head units are great but the kits for the most part have to be gone through to fix things(at least in the past). In the Fbody world you pretty much needed the 3rd party aster bracket and a tread stone intercooler. Brutespeed offered a PC kit with all of the revised parts needed for a solid reliable setup on 4th gens. I do believe PC has improved their kits substantially for the most part so you should have a trouble free experience as long as you have good 3rd party support from a shop well versed in dealing with PC. If your shop relies on Procharger for support then you are in for a long road ahead of you. I hope all works out because I know the frustration...been there done that. I am hoping the Whipple ends up being a good experience because I went back to strictly NA stuff for 16yrs due to my experience with PC.

Maybe an area of corruption in flashing your pcm occurred that was different from mine which results in you seeing different codes being thrown. I still can't see the harm in demanding they flash it back to stock and then flash it with the tune just to rule out any possibility of there being a problem the first go round. Especially since it happened to mine thus proving it is possible after all.

It is also now throwing a p2291 code. The codes just seem to come and go.
