I test drove a 2SS before I bought my 1LE and the vented seats worked great on high. It makes noticeable difference. This something I plan on doing at some point too.

It isn't like an air conditioner on your backside but it works pretty well to keep the seat nice and comfortable during a hot day.
Think less of it as blowing cold air and more like a seat that was just taken out of cold storage

The max level (3) is very good, it's pretty much the only one I use, because the seat cooler is just a fan, not an AC unit, and it has to vent through small holes in the leather, so the more air, the better.

Level 1 is barely noticeable, and the medium one is okay on warm days but insufficient on hot ones.

Does anyone have pictures of which connectors (and how many of each) I would need to cut off of a wrecked junkyard Camaro (or order from somewhere) to create my own wiring harness that would not require cutting any of the factory wiring?

Sounds like it would be good for those warm, windows down, track days.

Well now you have me wondering what setting the OP's setup is equivalent to. His how-to only shows a single on/off toggle.

I find the effectiveness of the cooling seats varies A LOT. Some days you can feel it , other days it's like it isn't even there.

Makes sense though, since it is only a fan, and just blows the ambient air temp. So a hot day, in a hot car isn't going to get you much relief.

However a normal day in a cabin that hasn't been basking in the sun works well if for example you are sweaty and just need some air circulation going on.

I tried my best to describe what I did but it's probably pretty confusing in some parts. If you have any questions feel free to ask away!

Nicely done, i think if its ok with you we can make a P@P harness, but want to ask you first if that works with you, and if its ok do you think to do it for both sides or only the drivers side.

If you do that, please find a way to turn on the heated seat as well.

We did that for 5th gens and members loved it, so we think it can be done.

i'd definitely be interested in enabling the heated and cooled seats with a P&P solution!

I'd be happy with just the driver seat.
And just cooled, don't care about heated.
I've never froze in my seats, but last summer it did get kind of warm where a little breeze in the leather would be welcome.

I'd love this, I'm really only concerned with cooling and driver's side though.
