you replaced the dial knob on the controller you posted to the toggle switch?

edit: ok, i think you just turned the knob to full power and spliced in the toggle switch. ok if correct, so how to ensure turn knob stays on full, little glue or something?
I had the same thought, little glue seems like a solid idea.

I did consider gluing it together, but there is a decent amount of friction when turning the knob, it should hold in place. And I ended up taking the plastic knob off of the controller, leaving just a little post. I did that to reduce the chance of if accidentally getting turned.

I'm just surprised that no modding company, aftermarket wiring hardness company, or performance shop has jumped on this opportunity yet.

Me too. Hopefully they will now. I'd pay for a plug and play application. I have no problem soldering or splicing but I'd rather do it cleanly.

Thanks, I'll be looking forward to it!

I will most likely do this. If someone with vented seats also had an oscilloscope, it would be interesting to see what the factory electronics do. It should be a square wave. Would be nice to see what frequency and voltage that the motor likes to see.

What about looking up the fan itself, might have a manufacturer part number and the ability to get specifications on it.

Getting the fans to work is great. But a plug and play harness that could be removed without cutting/splicing is a must have.

Here you go camaroJD. I threw together a how-to, outlining exactly how I wired these fans up. I'll admit that I did not document my process well at all (I'll remember to for future projects), so there are only a few pictures included. I tried my best to describe what I did but it's probably pretty confusing in some parts. If you have any questions feel free to ask away!

For anyone who has done this or has a 2SS. How noticeable is the vented seats? The fan looks a little underwhelming, however, looks can be deceiving.
