I could always run a smaller resonator with the cat deletes, but then what would the point be with getting rid of the secondary cats then?
I would just go with a full cat-back. You can keep your stock cat-back in one piece then and don't have to cut it up. I doubt there's much rasp added/taken away by the presence or lack thereof of the secondary cats.

This means it will drone, be obnoxious, may or may not have sound characteristics that you like. I personally do not recommend any of the full systems currently on the market. This is NOT to say that there aren't people who have and love the full systems because there are. Several members on this forum have them and love them/rave about the sound...Since at the end of the day all we can do is espouse an opinion, you now have MINE and mine only (perhaps).

If you're going to do Headers and don't want the stock suitcase, I would get the ARH long (not full) system and pair it with Borla, Corsa, or AWE. No discussion.

First off your garage is full of awesome rides. With a line up like that you probably have a good idea of things. Honestly this is my first sports car in 20years things have changed alot.
After all my poking around i think i am going to land with the ARH long w/cats paired with the Borla SType. Thank you for your valued opinion.

It seems to “hollow” the sound a little.

Here’s a video of the ATAK with the Borla x pipe that retains the secondary Cats
https://youtu.be/Gx6cCk-kGAc

And this is a video with the secondary cats deleted (60606 X pipe)
https://youtu.be/p_rFBYH9KnU

Removing the secondaries seem to “hollow” the sound a bit.

I will concede that there is likely a difference if properly analyzed...Two different videos, two different cars, different cameras/microphone setups, different conditions...I don't think the video comparison helps me make a judgement at all. If given the choice between leaving the stock exhaust in one piece, adding more volume, and probably picking up a few HP vs. cutting stock exhaust, less volume, probably less HP, more restriction, but perhaps more bass, I'll choose deleting the secondary cats every time. But that's just me.

That's very much true. I really appreciate the input, it's been extremely helpful.
