E85 on stock motor
Curious how much the lt4 picks up with flexfuel / tune alone. Anyone know?

I'm not that optimistic...I think on an otherwise stock LT4, you're looking at 30-40 RWHP with a proper tune. The more HP you're making on pump the more the E85 octane is going to help. On 700+ RWHP cars, it can be worth nearly 100 RWHP.'
You cannot run 100% E85 on an otherwise stock LT4 though. You're going to be maxed at 60% or less. This means mixing with pump gas at the station every fill up. Unless you want to spend some big dough on fuel mods like the new Katech/Xtreme DI setup which they were able to run 100% with just the belt driven pump and upgraded injectors, no cam fuel lobe. |

I have seen it posted here. You can run e85 on stock pulley but you can not run a smaller pulley and full E85 without fuel system mods. Pulley and E50 seems to be pushing the limits.
