E85 17 ZL1
Just curious to see if anyone has my combo and what are they making. Mods are roto-fab, Tony Mamo, and e85(tune). Car made 613. Best 1/8 is 7.10@102 on NT05r. 1/4 mile went 11.30@128 on Goodyear’s. Also, should i change the plugs?? Any feedback would be great!!!!

Tom@Izzy performance did the tune. Weather was up there on the day of the tune. Car went 11.57@120 without anything done but the roto-fab. Car is tuned with hp tuners. That 11.5 was on stock tires. Was upwards of 95 degrees outside that day. Last night DA was right under 600. Ambient was 60. Irwindale, Ca. Was the location for the eighth and Fontana, ca was the quarter mile location.
Car baseline@553...... Could never see that number again after the first pull. It then stayed steady @520s. Then the 613 came after the e85.

Whoa, 613 seems really high for intake and E85! Do you have any number before the tune or on 91? Am I understanding correctly that you picked up something like 8 mph from E85 and a tune?!

With or w/o headers no way these mods max out fuel.

Fuel system has not been touched. Tuner said he didn't have to do anything. He also said that I could probably do a pulley and still be okay. Like MLee said, these cars don't really need it as quick as the 5th gen. No headers either. Full stock exhaust.

E85 on usually 60 to 70 hp withour increasing boost
I called gforce, powerfab, and 2 other shops all say the fuel systems falls off if you try to install a pulley with headers and CAI. Like 2800 to 1900 psi so ya the fuel system can't handle it.. if your going to be technical ya the fuel components can handle it but you have to change the cam to increase the pressure since the lobe drives the high side pump.

You don’t need anything to do with fuel with those mods. I’ve seen a car come thru the shop w/o anything done to the fuel. A buddy on IG has everything mentioned(headers, full exhaust to the stock muffler, upper pulley and e85). No fuel system upgrade. 10.78@130. Spoke with the owner of the car and know the shop he goes to. Car is pretty quick for what it is. Mickey Thompson tires.

I had trouble running e85. I was running a half tank of e85 and a half tank of 93 with just a flex fuel sensor and pulley and the fuel system couldn't keep up. Car went into limp mode during a run. I'm wondering if maybe its because I was no lift shifting?

That's odd.... I run a full tank of e85 without any 91 and my car runs great. No running out of fuel at all. I have the flex sensor as well. I also have the Nguage to monitor the ethanol content.

It's one way or the other.. 93 octane with pulley's, headers, and CAI or e85 with headers and CAI no pulley. Lingenfelter, Janetty, my local shops all said the same.. you need a cam to do a e85 and pulleys.
I'm not counting running meth or messing with low side pump.. I'm saying as the car sits those are the options. E85 way will make similar hp to pulley route but the pulley route will be stronger or more noticeable. Would need to see your buddies setup to see pulleys and see how much fuel pressure drop is.. I can't see al the quality shops saying the same thing I have 4 quotes from 4 shops that are all ran 2 ways without any word from me about pulleys or anything none of the e85 quores have pulleys on the list.
