Did you get any tire shake or anything? Kind of odd an auto stock converter turbo car would break an axle especially an SS one.

Yeah, they are pulling a bunch of timing to build boost, but not break loose at the line. (If I remember correctly) We have seen stock SS axles break, (although rare, or because the right side bolts backed out) so I'm not overly surprised by that so much.
