It doesn’t happen. I had a car sit for 18 months in the exact same spot. Fired it up and it drove fine....no flatspotting.

Some people get very paranoid and tend to go overboard on these things. People keep exotics costing 10x as much on the tires with a tender for much longer periods. That's all they need.

Don't be so sure. I parked mine and left to go on vacation. When I came back, my ENTIRE CAR was flat!

If I'd have just used some carpet . . .

Now, when I leave it sitting for any amount of time, I disassemble the car and put it on some shelvs.
