So is there a tuner compatibility issues on the 1LE since it doesn't have any amp from factory?

I'm trying to gather as much info as I can on here and the 6th gen FB group
So this is the catch - It is on certain tuner models (all cars without Amps - Base models), not all of them. I talked to NavTV and they said that it can be verified only when checking the tuner Firmware.

Thanks! How do I find the firmware? Is it something that can be found through the radio screen, label on the tuner, or tuner has to be plugged into special device to find that out?

I think that the FW version should appear somewhere in one of the menus but best if you called NavTV and they would guide you how to be able to identify. It may also well be that GDI needs to be used at the dealership to find this information about the exact Tuner version and FW.

Thanks. I usually listen to talk radio or maybe stream on a road trip to Coronado. If someone comes in with a reasonable plug and play improvement that would be interesting; however, tunes in the car was never a priority.
