Firestone Indy 500 tires do not fit the Bone Stock Category. Check the rules on the first page of this thread, and you'll see that the correct category for your entry is #3. Lighter/stickier tires, and lighter wheels, are performance changes for sure.

Though i agree based on the rules I've run the Indy 500s myself they aren't any better then the summer tires that come on the SS. But are immensely better then the shitty A/S runflats.

Those Indy 500 tires are probably lighter than the stock F1s, and the Apex wheels he has them on are lighter than stock as well. Just that lower rotating weight is a performance change (for the better) by itself. Also I question whether the 500 is not any grippier than the F1. Thought that the 500 has gotten decent reviews from SS owners? Regardless, the rules for Bone Stock category specifically prohibit performance changes, and that car does have some performance changes made.

Update for my SS bolt-on entry in Category #3. Still has intake manifold, 95tb, cai, e85 tune, drag pack with radials, smaller battery, driveshaft loop. Still had all of the seats in the car, and it still has a completely stock exhaust system.
