Thanks for any input

Holy Shit! I had this exact same issue 2x last weekend! I was getting on it pretty good, full throttle, or close to it merging on to 75..I let off the gas and it only closed a little bit. Held for a more than a few seconds, enough time for me to go....hey, wtf is going on here? Had I actually needed to slow down it would have been exactly as you said...both feet on the brakes.

I guess I will get the service dept to explain but I know that this will most likely go nowhere with them .
I guess a good tuner can tune this out but there goes the warranty

Someone should use their Performance Data Recorder to capture it! Sounds scary!

I've seen this only when I had a different size spare on the rare.. the car acted like the cruise control was on and it was hard to stop the car if you pushed clutch in the car would rev.. I would see about a update flash for the anything to do with the rear end or ediff and torque management

are you referring to this scenario.... WOT like getting onto the highway then letting off, the throttle seems to hang and stay in a lower gear (proper gear depending on scenario). My 17 zl1 does this and I tend to upshift using paddles once done accelerating. I believe this scenario is normal but you may be describing something different?

In my case it is a manual, but ya, it doesn't decel when you lift entirely off the throttle. None,it just sort of maintains speed, then starts to drop in revs. No way thats normal, Ive never had that happen in any car Ive owned, not this car either, until it happened 2x in one day.

This may explain the rev hang you experience: http://www.revhang.altervista.org/

5,000 miles. Manual. Never experienced this at any time in any driving mode.

When Rev Match is turned on. Watch my throttle position and RPM. Listen to my narration. The RPM will sit and hang at the appropriate RPM for whatever
gear it is in, with the clutch pushed in.

Appreciate of the responses, sounds like I am not the only one with this issue. whats curious is that some have stated they have no such issue which leaves me perplexed if its in the factory tune for all of our cars or I just have an issue with mine as others do.
