I have a buddy with an LT4 Vette that I've asked to bring into the shop so I can figure it out. But it's been raining for over a week straight here and he doesn't want to get it out yet.

I feel like it will be the same as the LT1. The blower inlet will need to be ported for it to work.

Excellent, looking forward to your findings. I know this is the LT1 subforum, but the ZR1 TB hadn't been mentioned anywhere else yet.

I've been on Facebook with it on a personal level. People seem to overlook it tho. Everyone on Facebook seems to take a "Follow the Leader" notion and that makes others get overlooked. We have done tons of dyno testing on all the bolt-ons one by one, and some of the results I see others posting is comical really. The biggest gains to be had were from the MSD and this TB on our test cars.

I mentioned it on FB the other day after my initial dyno testing was done. Matt/Joey posted their results the other day but not as a straight TB comparison. The good thing is that our dyno results back each others up. I wouldn't have messed with it had they not told me about it for that it needed to be modified to fit. I will mention more once the track testing is done as well. The dyno is just a tool and the track really proves what works and what doesn't. So I would be leery of companies that only rely on dyno tests to prove out products. Products need to be tested and proven in both environments to validate their worth.

That being said, I will also be testing the 95mm on one of my FBO cars at the dyno and at the track. One test will be on the ported stock IM/TB and the other on a ported MSD. I am not sure we will see any tangible gains with a stock ported IM. Even with an adapter or the manifold throat opened up to accommodate the 95mm I am not sure I can get the interior of the stock IM large enough to make it worth it. Any restriction smaller than 95mm is still a restriction. On the ported MSD it will be a toss up. An engine can't use air it doesn't need. As usual, if it pans out to not be productive or worth the cost, I will post up honest and unbiased results.

Would this work with a G1pro LTx Street Sheet Metal intake? Would it also fit with the nitrous outlet plate system?

No idea about the plate.

Once the bolt holes are modified it should bolt up to anything the stocker does as long as the mani hole is big enough.

Pray,
Do you think it will change any values on shift points on an A8 and affect aggressive shift mode when you burp throttle......

It may but I haven't had to make any adjustments to the cars I have put them on. But those cars are already tuned.

So does your adapter address the restriction of the LT4 or stock IM opening? It seems to me that the 95mm TB would still be restricted by opening behind it with an adapter and then be of no worth in the end. Can you post some pics of the adapter?

I’m guessing this is the adapter in question:

Thanks. So it appears it rotates the TB to make it work, not sure up or down but doesn't appear to solve the restriction issue.

I'd be interested in your adapter plate if I could get it in a custom thickness. Ex: Much thicker than the one ictbillet sells for 50.
