This is at my local track. Running with full caged race cars in my stock Camaro. This Camaro is truly amazing.
Really cool introduction with the commentary! nice usage of pdr this way. Great driving too, where did you finish with your time?

Ended up 1st for the weekend! These cars are truly something special. There was 20 time attack cars that competed Saturday and Sunday.

Some action from COTA running with my friends GT350. This was after we were both just signed off solo during NASA HPDE, so were doing "clean laps" not cutting corners or running wide, etc. For sure there more time to be had here.

LRP

Went to Lime Rock Park in CT last Wednesday with the 1LE-Bee. First time with a shifter-car at the track, but I still managed a 1:05 best lap with lots of traffic.

Watkins Glen International

Here are some vids form 7/4-5 with Chin @ WGI. This was my 2nd trip to the Glen, very grateful for some dry track this trip. Last year I only had 2 dry sessions! First is my 2nd session on 7/4 on square 305/30 19" Hankook RS4's.

I wish I would have had more time on the RS4's, this session isn't representative of their potential. I ended up switching to my slicks after the 2nd session on 7/4 because the forecast for 7/5 looked awful (90% chance of rain)... and I wanted to set a time on the PZero DH take-offs. Oh, and the PDR didn't take start/finish on 7/4, hence the lack of lap time data on screen for the RS4 video. I had my AIM Solo in the car, this lap was a 2:10.74. I think the RS4's could likely do a 2:08... this 2:10 is a walk in the park.

Here is the 2:10.74 on RS4 Street tires:

7/5 Turned out to be beautiful for much of the day. Here is my best lap on P-Zero DH 285/645 square.

I accomplished my goal for the event: 1. Flat through the esses. 2. Demolish my previous PB (2:07)

Ha, thanks. The Glen is my new fav track in North America. Here are a few pics. 1st is top of the esses (flat ), 2nd is T9 (that’s what 1.57g looks like)

Flat out thru the esses eh? Just proves that slicks is the best mod ever...next to the driver of course.

The car looks so composed at high Gs...Anyone even remotely doubting the stock suspension should study this picture carefully. Then check your lap time again

Any commentary on the new tires vs RE71Rs? Thx!

First time they've done track sessions at night at COTA. This was the 5th session of the day. Managed to do a new PB chasing down a GT350R that seemed to start sliding around. Felt like I had to relearn the track in the dark. Using audio from the rear mounted microphone.

The red GT350R you were chasing is a buddy of mine from Austin (Jerry). He is coming from years of German hot rods and is loves his R. A group of my friends also came down from the Dallas area for the event, but, I could not as we had an 85th-birthday party for my dad.

Love the sound from your mic set up. What editing software are you using to blend the sound over the PDR video?

I had fun with the R a couple times during the day, we usually got separated by traffic. I'm using Racerender 3 Ultimate software which so far is the easiest one I've found to use and still learning it.
