All the pads on this list will range from $300-$600. Unfortunately its the cost of good quality track pads. I have experienced brake failure at 150mph going in to a turn on "cheap pads" Two things I learned from that was First never cheap out on brakes, and safety equipment. Second always check to make sure you have a good peddle before the end of the straight.

I also learned you never get all the gravel out from your car after its been in a gravel trap.

Is there a good compromise between better braking and heat resistance than the stock pads but still minimal squeaking? I still have PTSD from the Carbotechs I ran a few years back. Great pads but I almost got sue'd for ruining ear drums at stop lights.

If you track the car I would suggest 2 sets of pads. Street set and track set. If you autocross or just want a good pad, go with somthing like hawk HPS

Thanks sir. I do track the car, no autocross but I've been too lazy to do both sets of pads. I'm ok with a little squeal, just not as much as I had with those carbotechs. But you are correct I should be running both.

get G-LOCS for dual duty. Not terrible noise on the street and they work fine when cold. DTC-70s are really bad for noise on street.

I leave my Hawk DTC-60 pads in for dual street/track duty and don't have any issues with squeal. I have used Ferodo DS1-11 pads on other cars and the squeal is horrible on the street.

last questions
i need to find aftermarket replacement rotors? i need to order rotors, but don't feel like spending $700/front set for oem

off topic question:

when i bleed the brakes (if i'm only working on the fronts), do i need to bleed all 4 sides? if it's all 4 i do driver rear, passenger rear, driver front and lastly passenger front?
