I wish the DSC engineers would jump in this discussion but I’m too lazy to email the link to them

Finally got my car to the track with the DSC controller in it. It definitely improved the handling. The biggest thing I noticed is the nose not diving down when I brake going into a corner. My car had better control coming out of the corner, I was getting on the gas and the nanny's (In Track-Sport 1) were not having to kick and help as much. I felt like I had better control of the car.

So how much faster were your times? If the car is noticeably faster, the time should indicate that.

My times were faster, but saying that I drove the track in ccw as apposed to cw wise last time. And I got some instruction from a guy who races on how to drive the track. I think every time I go out I should get better! Some people aren't going to like this but the car "felt" like it handled better. But I think my improved time was because of both the controller, better education on the how too drive the track and having more track time under my belt.

There is no substitute for seat time AND quality coaching. Even if one is a pro. And thats why even F1, Indycar etc aces get coaching regularly. And forever take notes for each track they run.
And learning should continue until we kick the bucket...cause there is always somebody faster... But i am glad you think the controller works for ya. Having said that so do placibos in clinical studies. And that proves that brains work in mysterious ways lol! Bottom line: do whatever makes you fast and best of luck in your competitions. |

Come back when you have something of value to add. You’re noise and not signal in here. On topic, been running the DSC in One Lap this week and it’s worked great so far. More comfortable transits and so controllable on track. 15th overall after this morning at NOLA. Not bad for a couple of autocrossers who’ve never seen these tracks. |
