I have both the pads and rotors, and so far i have no complaints as i knew ahead of time that these are street pads, not track pads.

No squealing at all ever, not even in the mornings, and almost no brake dust when compared to the stock set up.

I took the car on a canyon run and noticed a difference in performance, got a bit of brake fade, so these are not good for long runs, but good for occasional sprints, which shouldn't be surprising for street pads.

So i miss the performance of the OEM pads, but not the squeling and excessive dust. I would definitely buy these z26 pads again.

My concern tho is if i get some track pads, will these powerstop rotors crack from the heat when on the track?

Sort of late now but you just missed the deal of the century. I bought a set for my Vette and Camaro only $150 for rotors and pads front and back. Got info from the Corvette Forum. Bought from Advanced Auto online. So far they work great and no dust.

Keep checking it may come back.

I'm a little skeptical on buying them (as I always am after reading the forums) as many have stated that they will not last long whereas others have said they want to buy...but never posted about them.

These are the ones I'm considering:

I did not have any noise at first either. After about 2k miles it started making noise.first thing in the morning. To most no big deal as it goes away quickly but I did not like it so I changed them out for Z23 pads. So far no noise.

Has anyone tested the stopping performance of these pads/rotors? It's one thing to not have to deal with dust, but another to realize you need more distance to stop.

I think to most of us that do not track our cars brake dust and noise are more important. When I had the Z26 pads they felt like they stopped better than the OEM Brembo pads. The Z23 pads I just put on however don't feel as good as either but I don't track and they stop better than 90% of the cars out there.

I saw Amazon does but living in Hawaii does have draw backs. The kit can't be shipped here through them. When i did go through a reputable vendor the shipping alone was $177. If i purchase through Auto zone they have the kit in stock, so no shipping fee.

I bought the kit for 364 shipped last week from CarID. They had a Daily special and I grabbed the last one. I will be doing an install this week.

Maybe its morning rust from local humidity overnight?
I've already put about 2.3k miles and still nothing, but i also keep my car garaged. I remember what you described used to be an issue with my 2014 camaro, they would always get some rust and noise in the morning from that marine layer mist from the beach.

As for price, i got mine for about $413 shipped from Amazon, which i think was a fair deal for both pads and rotors. I see some of you got lucky and got them for cheaper, nice!

Just installed the PowerStop pads and I reused factory clips because the the ones that came with pads didn’t fit right. But my first test drive I’m getting a constant scraping sound without applying brakes. I am gonna pull wheels off to see if I did something wrong.

I have about 200 miles on my power stop front rotors and did pads all the way around. They have not squeeked yet and the brake dust situation s NIGHT AND DAY from the factory Brembos.

Mine is garaged as well. It did it all winter long when there is very little humidity. Only did it when I backed out of garage then maybe once or twice for a mile or so. We don't live to close to the ocean so I don't know why they did it. Some other guys on here have had the same issue with the Z26 pads. Some guys with OEM Brembos have no noise at all but mine was horrible with the noise and brake dust. The Z26 are great pads with little or no noise and hardly any dust issue. I am just anal about the squealing even if it was just a little.
