Black is beautiful, but a lot of maintenance.
You think a black Camaro is crazy, a black pickup truck is even more nuts.

Exhaust sounds excellent

Ha, I live in Oregon. If I didn't drive in the rain I wouldn't go anywhere for like 9 months of the year. But I do and go out and enjoy the beautiful countryside we have here.

But I would never personally own a black car just for the higher maintenance

I have a black Jeep JKU, LOL. It is what I drive to work on days when the weather is less than perfect. My SS only comes out on nice days, if I can help it. Sometimes it is supposed to be nice, but they get it wrong and I am out in the rain after all.

Same reason I don't like taking mine out in the rain.

I drive in the rain all the time. Midnight blue, Dark metallic Gray and now a white 2SS. I may or may not hand wash after a rainy spell, if I am expecting several bright sunny days. I have to say the white really hides dirt way better than my previous cars.

I understand the OCD. I get that way about the bug juice when I drive in the everglades (I75 alligator alley). I hand wash (the front, windshield and the side mirrors) immediately after.

Dirty car aside... Are you filming with an iPhone X? Picture quality is stunning.

I don't believe you lol. Mine takes the worst pics and video of any smart phone I've ever had! But the original one I bought shattered a month into owning it, so I've pretty much had a refurbished one the whole time. Maybe they put the wrong camera in mine!

Android has come a long way. On a recent vacation, when we asked folks to take a photo of me and the wife, several iphone users were shocked at the quality of pics taken by the pixel. My wife was die hard apple iphone user, until she saw the photos from the pixel. Now, she has a pixel 2

Was looking at the dirt on the car til you went around the back and that beautiful exhaust note captivated me for the rest of the video.

Nicely modded car, man.
