But we have to learn to respect other people opinion and remove your fan boy T shirts. There are people who are handicap and also want to enjoy a great handling car, other want that their significant other enjoys also their car or live on a heavy traffic place or just want to have it automatic, that's it. For the one that mentioned that the ZL1 1 LE was faster thant the automatic ZL1. Again, you are wrong, is not the transmission that make it faster on the track, is the suspension, tires, brakes and the aerodynamics of the car. Plain and simple. If more 1LE cars are sold by GM the better chance is that the 1LE continues in the market place, that's way now is on 6 cyls. and 4 cyl. consfiguration, so everybody can have their cake and eat it. If you enjoy your manual transmission it's fine just enjoy it but leave others to have their own dreams come thru. ![]()

I keep seeing this crap posted that a 1LE is only supposed to have a stick shift available. The original 1LE was the 3rd Gen Camaro, and the original 1LE was made with both stick shift and automatic transmissions. So it was not the transmission that made the 1LE special.

Yeah, to be perfectly honest, I don't understand the snobby disposition towards a 1LE coming with an automatic. Yes, I thoroughly enjoy the manual transmission in my 1LE but, when I had my 2016 2SS A8, I wholeheartedly understood how effective that transmission could be. Having an A10 available in a track focused Camaro 1LE is not at all a bad look--especially if the transmission is on point, too.

Who cares if the 1LE comes in an automatic, I would only be mad if you couldn't get it in a manual.

If the Camaro 1LE was a model instead of a option there may be a reason for an automatic ,but where it is now there is no reason, especially in its price range . Chevy can't make a ZL1 or a Corvette ZR1 in manual only, they would lose probably 80% of there market because they don't know how to use a stick shiftl. Cars in that price have to have an automatic ,just look at how many more Ferraris and Lamborghinis are sold now over the manual years . Just because technology has caught up to the automatic trans it will never make it a better driving experience for the ones who actually want to be more involved in a huge part of the driving experience.

A stand alone model 1LE Camaro with a twin turbo V8 putting out over 750 HP would work well with me , thats a car that would be offered with an A10 and manual . I would of course have the manual.
