Installed the GM ambient footwell lighting kit today. Looks absolutely great in the dark, especially in red and orange, ie sport & track modes. The passenger side appears to be brighter, but only because there are wire harnesses and connectors next to the driver side LED.

Now, whoever designed the shroud under the glove box should be forced with a whip to remove and replace the bolts in the back, they're practically unworkable with the interior of the car in place There is simply no room for a proper tool, this part of the process is pretty painful.

I'm 6' 2", and the only way I could get those two bolts out was lying head down in the footweel, my feet up on the passenger seat headrest, and even this way the space is so tight I was afraid I wouldn't be able to slide out from under the thing if I get a cramp or something... and then, when reinstalling the shroud at the end, I managed to drop a bolt under the floor. No idea how to get to it yet, I'll probably have to get the car on a lift and remove some bottom covers. Should've used the driver with the strong magnet (hindsight is 20/20, as always).

Yesterday got the summer tires/wheels on, installed the C7 carbon side-skirts, put the tow-hook front plate mount on.

Combination of rivets and self-tapping screws. The kit comes with both so you can kind of mix and match. Requires drilling, but not too difficult for anyone to install. Lethal Camaro has some install videos. The holes closest to the wheels may be difficult to reach with the riveter, so those are best done with the self-tapping screws, they are very secure though when installed, no fear of these coming off.

Looks good. Does it use Rivets or bolts? I guess I can just run to Fastenal and buy my own bolts if they use rivets. Thinking about getting that, their diffuser, and blade spoiler.

Satin. ZL-1 rockguards are installed. No issues. Yes, the paint matches. According to C7 Carbon, the paint is actually pretty expensive and that's the reason they are more $$$ than than the other colors they offer.

Just got it home to NYC after a 4000+ mile trip to South Florida and back. Perfect ride, no issues at all and very impressed with the gas mileage on highway. Used Novistretch Nose Bra the way there and back and saved the front radiator and grille i feel from all the crap i seen on it. Best investment so far for the front protection while on a long trip. Now back to this shitty ass cold weather and massive potholes.

Glad you made the trip to and fro in a safe manner... I seen on an earlier post you are wear the Continental DSW I believe, I know I may be wrong on the type but could you clarify and how did they perform? Are they quiet, can they corner hard, traction dry/wet etc?? I currently have the Nitto 555 G2 on and I feel very confident in the response it gives me, just a bit noisy, not too noisy but I’m the type if I can hear it , it bothers me haha

Got up early this a.m. and conducted a small detail on “BP”. Haven’t massed the energy to do the 7 step Meguiars process just yet. I’m trying to pace myself as to not overdue it....

No need for the 7 step. Looks perfect. Dont overdo it and risk scratches. ;-)
