The computer absolutely will command nearly full throttle to achieve the rev match (for all I know, it may actually use WOT sometimes, I haven't put a reader on it).

What do you mean by upsetting everything else? When I heel-and-toe everything is nice and settled.
Because going for a lot of throttle while you're on the brakes is hard to get perfect every time . I'd have to bounce the pedal off the floor to get the response time the computer does.

To each their own, I enjoy doing my own rev matching on occasion, but the aggressiveness of the computer also makes me smile. And it's a totally optional feature which is not specific to the 1LE anyway, so I'd say it's a keeper.

Back in the spirit of the thread, I have decided something I think would make this car closer to perfect. A ZL1 body package .

I've also changed my mind on the A10. As long as they always offer a manual, I'm totally cool with an option for the A10.

I know how to do it but I see no reason if I have it done perfect every time by this system. I'll save it for cars which do not have it.
Do you always double clutch just because some old cars had no syncros?

How are they not holding value? Nada says a 2017 1le with 5k miles is worth 39k

I just bought a new 2018 for that price. Used is same price as new....id say they are valued damn good

NADA might say it's worth $39,000 but it will never sell used for that high, more like $36,000, and trade in offer will be closer to $32,000.

I was worried there would be a trick to it based on your(?) earlier comments but I've found my 1LE to be perfectly suited to heel-and-toe. It is easier under hard breaking. Getting a heel-and-toe shift correct in the 1LE is a very satisfying experience.

If you can't shift properly the world will know and that is what I like about manual transmissions. I'm not hiding behind an automatic.

My driving shoes of choice (Chuck Taylor All-Stars) are very flexible and that helps a great deal.

Today there was a dude on the highway (slow traffic) who was exhaust bombing me for 10 minutes. It was a joke because he had a F-Type SVR (auto) and he would spin his wheels when he put it back in to drive mode (he was still mashing the throttle) because he was inept at what he was doing. I ignored him completely - well, I was doing that before because he was a tosser with an auto.

Perfect downshifts are easy to do with the TR-6060 and immensely satisfying.

The option to get Recaro's similar to the GT350 that have the holes for a six point harness. 305 tires up front, ZL1 brakes and 50 more HP.

Give it (REV-match) a chance/shot at the track if you plan to use your car at the track, and let us know how you think. I honestly had more reservations against the feature, too, before I started using it with my C7 Z51.
I can do it myself. Why would I take that pleasure away?

That it exists at all is intrusive.

From my experience not as easy as in my Subarus or Mini, especially on a street when you're driving slow. I can see it's easier during a hard braking but in my previous cars it was easy always. So no, it's not perfect.
And this whole talk about people seeing you "superior" is just silly. Especially as most people would assume you're in AT anyway as you need to know what to look for to recognize 1LE and most people would not notice.

I had a 2.0 turbo wrx with the rev limit at 7.3K. That engine was rev-happy when you were rev-matching, super easy. You feel the mass of the LS3 and LT1 when rev-matching. You can do it, but it's more of a delayed response and a bit harder to step up two gears. Definitely not the same and not nearly as good. The electronic is nice.
