It does seem like it's certainly lining up for that to happen.

Whether you're a Ford fan or not; the upcoming GT500 will be epic and not a one trick pony. A LT5/DCT equipped Z/28 (purists be damned) would be just as epic considering the LT5 seems to be under rated and would be a perfect swan song for the big cube V8's. Of course, they might just wait for the 7th Gen to unleash the next monster model.

I say the ZL1 1LE is epic , the GT500 is going to have one hell of a time trying to beat it on track. Takes more then a following and emblems ,but then again its a mustang so close is good enough for them. If anything gets the LT5 it will be a ZL1 .
