Wow. Some of these boys are feisty. Wish we had some politicians this adiment about lowering my taxes. Lol.

I’m not as passionate about stick or manual. When I was a kid I drove mostly sticks. Now I’m to busy. I stay on the phone a lot for my business. Hands free thanks to this sweet car.

As far as fun that one is subjective also. I find I have more fun in my car with the auto. Let Hal do the shifting while I flip through radio channels take in the scenery.

Live and let live boys. If you want to fight about something try doing something with this insane government we have or the social decay all around us. Had a woman get mad at me the other day for trying to hold the door open for her. If we are going to be old fashion about something let’s try courtesy and respect. Give me that and a new A8 shiftomatic any day. Lol.

It's much easier to be flexible when it's somebody else's preference that's in danger of going away completely. Keep that in mind.

There would be no point in a convert to AT-equipped cars recalling previous inflexibility regarding the MT except, perhaps, if one was forced into AT ownership for something like physical disability where the "choice" became "either drive AT or don't drive at all".

Believe me I'd fight just as hard to lower your taxes. Problem is there's people out there who will fight just as hard to keep giving welfare to drug addicts.

I would compromise some options and even color but get the transmission you want whether be auto or manual. Good luck.

Where is camarocid and what did he decide?
Well it certainly hurts my feelings because I love Motley Crue lol. I think I am leaning towards auto, but I need to test drive the m6 to make sure. Wife wants me to get an auto, but I had a m6 for years and it didn’t bother me. I also wasn’t commuting daily.

I ended up pickin up a 2016 2SS in Jan with 3800miles, not that 6MS was even in the running, but honestly there has been very few 2016 2SS on the market in my area. I have seen 3 other then mine and all more money and more miles. I love the auto, i local drive to work around 30 minutes so lots of stops at lights. Ive been getting 17mpg on 89 which is better then my lexus GS350 sport got . Test them out but you will love the auto, you can always put it in manual mode and use the tip or the paddles. I use my paddles to downshift at lights, cant not thinkin of changing those BREMBROS anytime soon lol

Think a single one of your dealers would have given me anything close to that on trade for it?

Didn't think so.
You're seriously expecting a dealer to give retail price on a trade in car? They should give you the exact amount that they will have to sell it for. And you expect a business to stay afloat that way? Thats's not how any business operates. Dealership or not. I think reality waved bye bye to you a long time ago. You're just rambling about things that make zero sense.

I was a hardcore Manual type of person but as I got older it does not bother me. The 8 speed auto in my SS is a blast to drive. I do not miss the shifting. Just an opinion from an old guy Have a good day all!

Dude, you obviously didn't get my point. OF COURSE I don't expect a dealer to give me what I can sell it for. If you read what I said you'd understand that.

God I have zero patience for people who don't read.

Ok, so your describing my car to a tee, nightfall gray, Kalahari leather 2ss, A8, convertible. I play at the tracks, 12.70 @ 112 mph quarter mile, also race at Hallet raceway in Oklahoma, you can run the track both ways ( not a circle) In track mode with tc off, using paddle shifters not much can keep up. Auto, manual, who cares, just have fun and drive the piss out of it!
