Looks like it has 4 pistons all around, like an SS. If you open the photo of the interior in a new tab on a computer, you can zoom in and clearly see the tachometer. It is clear that the tach redlines at 6500 and continues all the way to 8000.

Edit: it looks like it may actually redline at 7000... which means that this is either a v6 with npp or the SS got more power.

7k redline, no SS on the flat bottom steering wheel, and the reverse position all point to a v6 car. Also small brakes.

All V6 cars have a 7k redline tach, npp has nothing to do with it..

Now about those taillights...

The Mid-engine corvette leakers have recently provided the public with some insight on the car's tail light design. They are dented inward, are staggered(offset) at the bottom, and connect at the top. They also point outward in a way. Here's something that one of the leakers mocked up, including the tail light shape on an actual leaked cad drawing of the mid-engine car. I'm also including a rendering that a forum member made that includes that tail light design on one side(I don't know what happened to the other tail light lol)

The tail lights on this camaro remind me a lot of the tail lights for the Mid-engine corvette. The Camaro prototype tail lights appear to be separated, but they have similar angles an dent inwards. I don't know if I like them or hate them, but we'll get used to them. There's something about that front bumper that they really don't want us to see. Maybe there's no front bumper #weightreductionbro If the SS does get a 7000rpm redline, it would probably be making 475-485hp and all the magazines will go nuts over how great it feels and sounds.

But don't the non-npp v6s come with only two exhaust tips?

My prediction- new heads, bump in fuel economy, 20-30hp, and maybe, just maybe, port injection

May be a i4 with 1Le / Auto X package. I don’t see a SS car there .

SS would have the red plate on the gearstick, so I guess it's a V6. On my vacation to the US I saw a lot of V6 with SS rear Spoiler, maybe it's some kind of package?

Besides the rear light design my rendering seems to be pretty accurate. I will update the rendering to the new lights later and also update my latest clues from the Malibu to the fronend

It will be fun what those "I have confimations that the facelift was cancelled" guys will say now

Take a close look to this shot, you can clearly see that the camaro lights are also dented inwards and the brake lights are small LEDs

1LS/1LT V6 mule (maybe a generic "track pack" for I4 & V6 trims?)

Different tires
Different hood (change in contours)
Rubber overmold steering wheel, not leather

The smaller 7" version of QNX 2.7 (probably branded MyLink3 to "keep up" with versioning on Sync), moves the nav bar to the bottom left to be driver friendly, cleaner framing of each page, navigation no longer looks like an afterthought, and HD Radio capable radio modules.

Just talked to an inventory specialist about finding a 2017 Fifty, he stated 2019 production is set for late August. (Probably not earth shattering news for most)
