Adaptive Cruise Control. 2018 Mustang has it. ATS and CTS (Alpha platform) have it.

The sensors on the front would be obvious and may be the reason for camo. Not so certain what the telltale would be for the rear fascia with ACC. Could 2019 Camaro be getting ACC as an option? Possible, and could come in conjunction with minor tweaks to fascia and front and rear lamps.

That would be a very cool addition to the Camaro. Would love to see that .

I think it was Gen5DIY that found a hidden setting in myLink(think it was a MY17 HMI) for ACC. So that would line up as well.

I'm pretty sure ACC, emergency braking, lane assisst, LED headlamps and digital gauges are in for the refresh. The car would be behind the market if it doesn't add these things

Not that is matters a whole lot other than show space & media. But Chevrolet is updating the Malibu for '19. So that will have to be squeezed in somewhere as well. They sell 180k of those annually last I knew.

This Malibu pics are great indicators for the Camaro spyshots!

I put some camaro spyshot parts onto the malibu shots. You can see that the Camaro lights share similiar elements, like the edged chambers in the headlights, the downgoing lines towards the center of the front (look at the drl in the headlight that is going downwards in the middle like) and the rear lights being single vertical stripes that light up and being separated by a line in the middle

I also added a pic where I tried to reveal the 16 camaro back then by adding Malibu elements to Camaro mule, which is kind of close to the actually 6th Gen

I’m thinking Cadillac XT4 and Chevrolet Blazer, both brand new SUVs in an SUV crazy market, are higher priority than a Camaro mild upgrade in a down market for sports cars. If both are revealed at NYIAS, then Camaro is out. Then it would have to be off-circuit, because the next major show in the US will be LA in November. 2019 models will already be on the lots by then. Maybe another Belle Isle event, like the launch of 6th Gen. Maybe even in conjunction with the Detroit Grand Prix, which takes place on Belle Isle in June.

Not sure how long the "Blazer" spy photos have been out. The first ones I've seen were only in the last week or so. If those were the first camoed spy photos it means production is well over a year away. I don't think they would show it in NY unless production was this fall. I've seen very little on what this "Blazer" may or may not be. Not sure what you can squeeze between an Equinox and Traverse. The old Trailblazer refresh was cancelled because the 3 row version was basically the same size as the Lambda SUVs (Traverse).

I'd like to see the one off of the Colorado/Canyon they sell other parts of the world. Funky C pillar and rear quarter glass but RWD.

I agree on the Adaptive Cruise. Probably not standard, but it has to be available.

If it looks like that, boring! Hate the headlights on the Malibu. Blah

Actually, the entire car looks as vanilla as can be. That will be relegated to rental car fleets.

I remember seeing spy photos last may that was said to be the Blazer . Since the Blazer and Cadillac XT4 are on the same platform and XT4 will debut in new york i was hoping to see the new Blazer soon after . I just hope the Blazer is out by December when my Traverse lease is up .

It starting to look like an old console television set in the dash only thing it’s missing is the wood grain , rabbit ears and the big plastic knobs.

Nice work, but that is absolutely hideous. I hope you're completely wrong. Otherwise I'm back in the Stingray market.

What he said.

Hope they don't make it all soft and less edgy. My bet is that they will in order to be less polarizing, less menacing, kinder, gentler, sleeker, boring...

I dig the 2017 camaro and traditionally mid cycle refreshes don't flow as nicely but we can wait and see..

Personally I expect the 7 th gen to keep the alpha chassis and totally revolutionize the body styling.

Sales have been slower than expected for both price (compared to competitors with heavy incentives) but also because of the very conservative evolutionary styling of the fifth gen camaro to those not in the know.

The sixth gen is a great looking vehicle but it's evolutionary styling of the very popular fifth gen has had an I,pact on 6 th gen sales.

Can't say what's coming just yet but hopefully it will integrate well with the unchanged sheet metal like the greenhouse...particularly the rear portion of the greenhouse.

That's a very retro focused aspect of the 6 th gen.

Cool looking but very well seen over the past few years.

I believe as the c8 goes rear mid engine it will open up the camaro 2 plus 2 to more dramatic styling in a revolutionary format.

Just guesses on my part.

not sure if this has been mentioned. But as many of you know the lt1 and the l86 truck motor are internally identical. Same cam, heads, crank, pistons, rods etc etc etc.

well it's been confirmed that the 2019 6.2 truck will feature a new 6.2, with an AFM type system that allows it to run on one cylinder.

From what I understand an private engineer made light modifications to the existing 6.2 and got it to run on one cylinder, and then sold the idea to GM. So it sounds like it may not be necessary for an entirely new motor. It's probably pretty close to the current motor with minor valvetrain hardware and software tweeks, but there might be a power bump. That's all speculation though.

I don't see why the camaro would not get the same upgrades.
