Muffler Delete ?

I live in Las Vegas, and was wondering is anyone knows, is a muffler delete legal.

I was watching some videos and man the car sounds a lot better without it, but not too loud.

I was also wondering what that would do to the warranty?

Any info is much appreciated.

It's typically illegal but not illegal depending on your states inspection laws. It'll only void the exhaust from the cats back at most.

Drone?

Once you removed them other than the enjoyable sound outside, how is it inside? Any nasty drone or rattles added?

Will any muffler shop remove the muffler? and are you saying it is legal here?

Thanks for any more info.

Chris

No real drone. A cheaper muffler delete may drone but the brand name axle back I got is marketed to not have a drone.

In regards to rattling.... the entire car vibrates around 2500 rpm. I had to take all my loose change out of the car.

The inside is not bad, you feel it but it’s not an annoying sound.
Go to best muffler shop by downtown Las Vegas, they do a nice job!

Removing your muffler is definitely illegal in Nevada. Trust me, I used to live in Henderson. You would pass the OBD2 plug in test, but fail the visual inspection for tampering.
