Yes i knew what i was gettin when i bought the car, though i did only drive 3 of them before i actually purchased it. I never did search for storage but was hoping that i would come across some pocket or storage that i didnt know about ( aka coin storage) and I have 2 booster seats in back and just 1 pocket on the passenger side to ( where i keep the kids sunglasses )

I only have my flash drive for music in the center console. I hardly ever open it, just use it for resting my arm while driving. I know that overall it had shortage of space and I bought the car for various other reasons (like performance, looks etc. etc.) so no complaints.
This being a sports car and After how this car performed for me as described in this thread, I would Not dare complain about storage http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=519268 |

Get rid of the wireless charging - no one is sitting back there to charge their phone.
use the extra space and revamp the console to provide a cellphone holder, deeper storage and a slide back lid.

It's true, the center console was poorly thought out. But it doesn't bug me as much as most of you guys. I put my wallet in the console. And sometimes my key FOB if it's annoying me in my pocket. Maybe some change. The cupholder can hold phones and other things. But then where do you put water? I have a nalgene that can go in my bag in the back seat. The interior is small enough that you have to sacrifice somewhere. Bigger console means less cupholders. Sliding lid means it can't double as an arm rest. You want USB ports but you also want them hidden so wires aren't everywhere.
There are some very valid concerns here but I think overall it's pretty nice. I'm comfortable in it, and I can find SOME place for most of my stuff when I'm in it. I really like the clean, simple lines of the dash. "Minimalist" is what I'd call it, for better or worse. |

The center console is a nightmare. I bought another USB for home-use since switching from the car to the house was a pain. I have to lift it all the way back, put my arm over the tall thing (sucks because I have a bad right shoulder), and put my big ass hand in what seems like the size and fit of a sink garbage disposal just to shimmy the plug into the port lol.
But nevertheless.. Everything else about this car makes me smile. So I try to remember to be humbled by the opportunity to have this car when others cannot and complain about it less.
