Sorry but I am calling B.S. I am a Dealership Employee & only (2) 2018 models were eligible for employee pricing & both were SUV. You mean FLEX Cash not market cash!! Post up your contract & I will call you UNCLE.

ETA: I only found this out because the second dealership I went to couldnt/wouldnt even attempt to get to where the first did and didnt understand how they got there. They did some research and said that the individual dealerships had to opt in to that program to be able to offer it and they had not, but the first dealership must have. Might have only been a Texas regional type thing, I have no clue, nor do I really care. I have no clue why the dealership I bought my car from filled out the sales contract like they did, with the overall discount being put in as a single lump sum 6500 manufacturers rebate, but if you look up GMS + 1500 loyalty + 1000 regional bonus cash(I dont care if its called flex or whatever, it was advertised as regional bonus cash) you will get to the number. Actually looking at it, they have my trade value at 1000 less than what it was supposed to be and the "rebate" is 1000 more... end of the day the numbers are the same, but it makes the math weird. I paid 61157 for the car. I have blacked out my trade in info and what not, but the rest is as signed. I dont know where the 66657 number came from. The sticker is 69,345... If you dont believe the sales contract I have the state registration form also showing 60,157(although again thats wrong, the price I paid was 61,157, but they did some funny math with my trade). I also have the form stating the rebate as 6500(which again, it should be 5500, but funny math on the trade).

If you are indeed a "dealership employee" look up GMS on an 18 ZL1, hyper blue, auto, pdr, nav, sunroof... subtract 1500 for loyalty and subtract 1000 for the regional bonus cash and you will get to the 61175... And I did not pay tax on the rebate... The tax form to the state shows the 60157 purchase price(which isnt really correct) minus my trade and I paid taxes on that amount. Right around 2000 dollars in taxes. anyway, im done proving to you what I paid for the car and how the price came about... Like I said, I dont know why they put the pricing on it the way that they did, nor do I care. Sorry you dont believe what I paid or how it came about... All you have proven in this thread is you are a jack ass... im out. |

Traded a new 2ss and a 2lt stingray for a zl1. Im not sure its 20K BETTER than the ss (that is, its not 50% better than a ss) but im glad I have it. The ss is an amazing value, the zl1 as well when you consider its competition, but a lot of it is not really usable on the street. I used “more” of my ss than I do of the zl1, if that makes sense.. The acceleration is intoxicating, and it does corner better. If I was on a budget, Id keep the SS and add sway bars.
