That was my problem...I tried to like the vette but felt like I was in a coffin. I'm 6' and around 190. One of my managers has a stingray & is 6.3 and gotta be over 250, not sure how he does it.

Why ZL1 for a ZO6?

Thanks for the responses. I've had several camaros and vettes over the years. I just wanted to try one of the new ZL1s. Easy to get in and out of, otherwise I'll give it a try. I don't track so it's irrelevant from that point. Hopefully i won't regret it, but ill just get a ZR1 after the "got to have it "crowd is done paying too much! Oh, I'm 6ft plus and there's plenty of head room
w/ a sunroof for those considering. Don't know how that ever started....
Thought about a 1LE (there's 2 around here for sale) but traffic and a 6 speed!

2018 summit wht, carbon fiber hood/interior, sunroof, pdr,A10, etc

Traded in my 16 Stingray for an 18 A10 and have not been dissapointed. Was running the Daytona road course all day Saturday and was putting down laps below 2:08 even with traffic . Made many guys with 150K+ cars weep. I go to lots of track events in the course of the year, hit me up any time, would be great to have another monster out on track!

You should have held out for the 18 GT. A tire and an E85 tune and it'll kick ZL1, Z06, Hellcat, GTR, Lambo, Ferrari, and R8 asses all day.

Anyway, congrats on the sweet ride man! But I gotta say, I would have kept the Vette! The ZL1 is nice, but the Z06 is the most beautiful car I've ever seen...alongside the Viper. I get it tho that the ZL1 has more space, the cool A10 trans, and the same performance. But the Z06 tho...man it is just an awesome car!!

Ya, the ZO6 was nice. So's the Camaro! I haven't driven it since i picked it up though. Have to have it wrapped and don't want any dings. Getting it done down in Boca. I think I read a post here that someone else had recommended the place.

Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah ahahaha.

My .02. I came from a '16 Z06/Z07 package. LMR built 750 package. I'm loving my Zl1 better. I know, crazy isn't it? The Vette was cool while I had it, but I got tired of getting in and out of it. I'm 6'1. 230. It obviously handles better than the Zl1, but man, for some reason, this A10 is straight butta. Way better than the A8. Plus, I'm already putting down 670 at the wheels right now and it comes on harder than my Z06 did. Going by my butt dyno, I feel like my Zl1 will reel in my Z06 on a roll race.

Either way, can't go wrong with both.

And I 2nd that. Bypass both cars and go straight to the holy grail of all cars. The '18 Mustang GT. It's already being hailed as the above all, end all. Greatest car to of ever been made. How can you pass that up?

Oh, you haven't heard? You def need to hop on over to the Mustang forums and read all the YouTube comments on the '18. It really is the baddest car out right now. (sarcasm on high alert). With just a tune and tire, the rest of us morons who own Zl1's, Z06's, GTR's, and Lambos better watch out.

LOL for about half a second I thought you were talking about a car that I hadn't heard. But I get the joke now. Hilarious mustang kids.
