I honestly don't know if I had that setting turned on before the update, but it was disabled now. Thanks for the settings, I've turned it on. My lighting was reset as well, but since I was expecting it, I turned it back on immediately.

Just got the letter today April 7th for the:
reprogramming of the Body Control Module.

I have a 2023 ZL1 M6. After going through this entire post, I'm hesitant to call for appt.
Until we know exactly what it's for.

Yes it works now. I can say now that the update doesn't do anything noticeable.

Got a mail today, thought initially it is NHTSA recall and looked it up in the database and found notning. NHTSA recalls are usually very detailed. This one is not.
Maybe they don't want thieves to know what security hole this update is patching so they don't go to unpatched cars to steal them?

Just had my car in yesterday. They couldn’t even tell me exactly what the update was for. Can’t wait to see what their response to the A10 issue will be LOL

I'm not at all surprised to see that TurboC3's response essentially negated what DeuceCam was told... The fact that not every 2020-2024 car was included in the recall made me fully expect that this would not address the blatant theft problem for these cars. I also expect that the issue that has led to high theft rates of Camaro's is a "GM issue" and not a "Camaro issue" and it will never get fully addressed as a result.

The low quality of dealership staff around me to work on my Silverado makes me very, very cautious about bringing the Camaro anywhere. And the last dealer that I -thought- was doing decently with the car ended up showing me they don't have a CLUE about these cars when they tried rotating tires on my 2SS front/back when it was in for a variety of work including an oil change. No one has touched my car for ANY reason since then but me.

So wait a minute, you rolled out of the shop with fatties in the front and skinnies in the rear? Or did you catch them in the act by saying they tried?

I got two letters in the mail this week for both recalls. Going to go in and have both done. Fingers crossed on both as I do not have a high degree of confidence in what they’re going to be doing. Sad that it has come to this. Can’t believe we are all driving ticking time bombs until they get this transmission issue fully resolved.
