Why I believe the Camaro doesn't have the NLS

The picture themselves are self-explanatory enough.

Let me know what you think.

I didn't read this whole thing, but they do have no lift shift. I'm not sure what your pictures are trying to show anyway.

They definitely don't advertise it anywhere for the Camaro, like they do for the ATS-V. When I NLS, engine speed goes to and is held at 6500 rpm. Is it working correctly? Don't know, but from datalogs on the stingray, it appears to work the same as that platform. We won't know for sure if it's an NLS algorithm or just banging off a rev limiter until Al O. and team chime in on how it's supposed to work.

My non-1LE 1SS definitely appears to control engine speed differently during an NLS shift than a 1SS 1LE.

It has been proven several times on here that it does have NLS....

here is a thread and a video to just one of the times it has been discussed.....

That's not proof that it works on a non-1LE SS. Mine clearly behaves differently than that video as described above. I would love for someone on the camaro team to chime in and describe exactly how it's supposed to function so I can be sure the feature is working and not banging off the rev limiter.

I have not seen any video proof of the feature working on a non-1LE SS, unless engine speed is supposed to go to and stay at 6500 rpm even if the shift was initiated at 6200rpm.

I use NLS at the track most of the time and always on the 3-4.

Mine is a very early M6 2016 SS. It's in the tune also, believe it.

Simple to use. You have to be at full throttle and just leave your foot on the floor as you shift. It might pull a touch of timing though just to be safe. There might be a low rpm limit, but then why bother.

I also had this on my M6 5th gen ZL1, so I know it works on the SS too.

It's there.... you just have to learn how to use it.....

That thread was just one example..... with a good video..... it happended to be a 1LE..... but there are many other threads with non 1LE's using it........

There is a throttle input and a speed threshold for it to work...... 93% throttle and 31MPH are the factory settings........
