OK. So the pops ARE unburnt fuel, damn. I could live with the tone, WITHOUT the pops. But I can't/won't tune it, till out of warranty. Guess I'm kind of stuck with it for now...sad. It seems like my idea of a 3" x-pipe will make it a little deeper tone w/pops. I was looking for deeper & no pops. Also glad I'm not the only one who hates the pops! Thanks everyone for your input & help!
