Second, this car is clearly a GT*. I think most here have agreed that the GT* is a drivers race with an SS, slight edge to the GT*. This run supports that idea. But as many of us have pointed out, most GTs are not GT* and should not be laying claim to this sort of time. Idaho’s car sounds like it is in the club and has this level of performance. Most GTs on dealer lots are not.
Third, it did take a prepared track to get it in under the 4.0 mark. Have to wonder how an SS on a similarly prepped track would do. Could be that it would also tick in just under 4.0

I did forget about the cars.com (how could I?) 11.9 sec 1/4 mile time. I knew I had seen it somewhere a while ago, but couldn't remember which outlet.
Interesting to me is that the C&D test was 3.8 sec 0-60 and 12.1@120 mph (corrected). Whereas the cars.com test was 3.99 sec 0-60 and 11.9@ 119 mph (corrected? Not sure). Slower to 60, but faster in the 1/4.
Yes, my car is an "infamous" GT*.
