So the last few times I've gotten in my 2017 SS to drive it, the outside temp is reading "--". I've seen where pulling the negative battery terminal for a while then putting it back on may work. ...

Thanks for the quick responses! Reading more and more, it sounds like BTR is the choice, given their GenV/LT testing/experience/effort with Cams (like not shelling the seats).

Wanted to come back to this... as the temps...

Wanted to come back to this... as the temps warmed up, issue went away. Seems to only affect the car when its cold and cranky. Driven it a few more tanks and no return... so who knows!

Cam selection with M6, cruise @ 1500-1750 rpm

Looking at some cams, specifically the GPI SS3, maybe SS2, and the BTR 225.

Supporting mods are Ported MSD Intake, Katech 103mm TB, Kooks 1-7/8s, ported heads, springs/lifters/etc...

Curious...

Air Filter was good when I checked it for the last oil change.
Oil is Valvoline Full Synthetic 5W30 (no tracking), changed at least yearly.
Current tank does have a bottle of Techron Fuel System...

I then fired it up, let it warm up a little...
