EVILBEE 2.0 - Tune Saga

It's finally done at least trip #1 is done. Lot's of interesting information. Before you ask I didn't post the 6th Gear October Pull because it was actually worse then the stock pull we lost about 20RWHP but gained a little RWTQ with the bolt-ons in 6th Gear pre-tune.

You'll see some nice numbers about what I expected of course the car feels much different and these numbers are actually limited by 2 factors 1. Being I didn't want to make my car explode so we'll be tweaking the tune in the months to come. 2. We didn't do the TCM and won't until it's fully supported as of right now you need to remove the TCM and send it out and I need my car for transportation. The TRQ Management on this car was insane and the TCM actually limits the power it will release even tuned.

4th Gear Dyno Pulls - +32 RWHP & +35RWTQ

6th Gear Dyno Pulls - +27 RWTQ & +43 RWHP

Finally! Man, I'm not trying to make a dig here, so please don't take it that way, but what's up with the C5 Vette license plate frame? I've never seen one run on a Camaro.

Lawl no dig taken I put it on there because I liked the way it looked on my 5th Gen. It does sit more flush on the 5th Gen Camaro and I had to modify it for the back-up camera but i'm still happy with it.

HPTuners is what was used it still doesn't fully support the A8 and we're going to wait until it's out of whatever beta testing it's on. I wouldn't be surpised if we can put down stock 5th Gen V8 numbers with full support across the board with HPTuners.

Weird, I just re-tuned 2 of the A8's today with HPTuners. There are sometimes when going to read the first time that it errors out and I have to try again to get it to successfully read the tranny though. Maybe that happened to you guys?

Possibly. He's doing more research and i'll send what you mentioned by him thanks for the info. Gonna be a longer process then initially because of the delays i'm now off from vacation so it's when we both have time to get to the dragstrip on the weekend for some datalogging.

Nice to see numbers in general you mean... All these guys tuning and not one dyno sheet posted. I get they're e-mail tunes but I dunno figure they'd wanna see an actual dyno reading.

Hey EvilBee! Nice numbers! Spread out the charts some so we can go over the power curve... Thats more interesting than peak numbers IMO
