Hopefully we'll get them before the Christmas/New Years holidays, I would guess not much gets done between Dec 23 and Jan 4.

Those units already built often ship during that time frame. The Assembly Plant does not build during that period.

Are you certain? I took delivery of my 1999 Camaro SS December 29, 1999.

I suspect most new car dealers will be open for many of those days.

No, I'm not saying you can't take delivery between Christmas and New years, I'm just saying it would be a pain, maybe the manager, your salesman, or financing person is off or something.

So, those of you on the 11/16/2015 Production week. What did you order?

Mine:

2SS Hyper blue with NPP Exhaust, Magnetic Ride, Split spoke machine faced gray wheels and black bowties as well as the sun roof.

This should be a huge step up from my 2011 2LT.

From what I understand, you can do all sales paperwork as soon as the dealer has a VIN#.

However, when the vehicle is delivered to the dealer, there is a pre-delivery inspection that must be done, the complexity of which I'm not sure.

That being said, you don't have to worry.

Yeah I knew that, I thought about doing the paperwork but not sure I want to or not since I am trading a vehicle in and the fact not being able to see the car...but then again I have bought a vehicle that was shipped from another dealers stock once, signed all paperwork beforehand.
